Pros

Great work culture, great Managers, and good coworkers. The ability to work remote is a big reason to why I picked Docusign.

Cons

Quotas are not realistic. We are starting to run into problems with being too expensive. The salary is pretty low. AEs are leaving because they can’t hit quotas and are not being paid high enough.

Pros

Teammates, benefits, commission when you hit it, good managers.

Cons

Lower than industry pay, unrealistic commission goals, poor company structure, very high turnover. I worked as an SDR for Zoom Info before coming to DocuSign and was making 80k/year. I came to DocuSign to "level up" into a higher sales position and it felt more like a marketing grunt roll. The whole MDR role is sending out mass marketing emails to different titles/industry-specific roles and then cold-calling prospects. The quotas are pretty hard to hit and seems like the executives are still on the pandemic high for sales targets which are now realistic. Sales territories keep getting broken up making it hard to hit quota and there is frustration amongst all of the SDRs and MDRs.

Pros

salary, benefits, learning programs, WFH

Cons

The work - life balance doesn't exist. It's 12h work a day or at least 10h. We are not paid for overtime so they should hire more people if they expect the work to be done instead of having 100 requests unresolved for months and people chasing continuously which was my case for about half a year until they finally though it was time to do something. Team work? doesn't really exist either. For some reason I was asked to provide backup for my colleagues on one task or another but I wasn't provided with any in return when I went on holidays. Cannot take more than 2-3 days off at a time due to this issue. Also had really bad start with the team when they basically cornered me in a call and started shouting at me. I was shocked and when I told about it to my manager he started to manipulate the situation trying to make me feel guilty about being bullied at work. Retaliation at its best! The managers will manipulate situations instead of providing solutions. So if under pressure I was told "everyone is under pressure". Yes, ok I get that, but there are conditions which can make someone's job less pressuring and making it a better environment, like good team work, back up when needed, change plans/tasks when someone is overloaded, let's figure out things to improve the overall ambiance. Discriminatory behaviour within the team, biased behaviour, managers playing favourites etc. I found that on a team call there was a situation when one of my colleagues made an offensive insinuation to my address and the managers said nothing. This is only one of many examples that were just swept under the rug. The managers want to be there only for the good times and jokes but when complaints happen they will only consider taking any action (if so) when more people in the team complain about the same thing. Since my work is separate for the most part from everyone else's my complaints are not taken into accountancy unless I've brought up the same problem about 60 times or more Overall bad working environment if you care about your mental health and your life balance.
