Pros

Great people. The work environment isn't that strenuous.

Cons

Credit Operations is grossly mismanaged. There are fundamental system issues and procedural flaws that management knows about but has no interest in correcting. They are quick to implement new changes, but the changes are often misguided proclamations from management in Riverwoods who do not understand the jobs we do. They also fail to effectively communicate on a consistent basis.

Pros

Great company with great people ! Discover tried their best to give you the best. I had great TL while I was there so I had it pretty good

Cons

Micromanaging was incredible difficult to deal with. When I first started it was lots of fun and relaxed. Over the passing yrs though I saw management really crack down and lots of people lots their shine due to the stress each and every day.

Pros

PTO is great 401k plan is good Good bathroom to cry in because the bosses make me want to kms

Cons

HR doesn't take concerns seriously. Management shows disciplinary action for 1 mistake and doesn't ever forget about it. They set you up for failure and make it impossible to be successful. You also get treated like a 5 year old. Horrible communication and nobody is ever on the same page. All of the programs that we use are slow and never work. If there isn't enough to do, they let you go home early using PTO hours if you want to but if you don't, it will affect your stats and get you in trouble. Coaches act like they are the boss and don't offer help when asked for it.
