Pros

Cons

Poor communication from inexperienced management can deceive you into thinking you are doing well and meeting expectations, until you aren't and they dump you like yesterday's trash.

Thank you for your feedback. It’s disappointing to hear your experience at CrowdStrike wasn’t entirely positive. Our goal is to create an environment where every CrowdStriker feels valued and supported. We’re sorry to hear we fell short on that for you.

Pros

Unlimited PTO (for now) A lot of smart people Core product protects data and systems The people who work on the product are top-notch talent and really care about the work they're doing, despite the fact that management doesn't seem to. People are helpful and collaborative and want to make the product better.

Cons

Leadership has not only lost their vision for what the product is and should do, they've lost all sense of responsibility for the effects of their policies and actions. They've hired too fast and are now upset that the teams that are made almost entirely of new people can't get work done as fast as their arbitrary deadlines. They're blaming individual contributors for their poor planning and lack of willingness to address tech debt that's slowing us down, and then they respond to criticism of that by removing employee privileges, either because they feel they can in the current tech job environment, or perhaps to get us to quit on purpose because they want to reduce headcount without doing layoffs and paying severance, and calling it a plan to improve our culture and collaboration. They've decided to require us to come into offices even though we were all hired as remote-first workers and the entire company ethos has been for remote-first work. There are also hidden requirements for promotion that are not explained but are expected, especially when you get to levels past Senior. It's not until you ask for that promotion that you get told you're not doing what it takes, regardless of the fact that, according to the leveling documentation, you ARE doing what it takes. In summary - this used to be a good place to work. They used to trust us and let us solve problems and treat us like adults, but the company culture has eroded and they're becoming more and more arbitrary and accusatory. I wouldn't reocommend working here unless you want to be told you should work harder every time the stock price drops. Also, don't count on what they say about benefits and culture, since every month we get a new email about how they're planning to change the policies to make them less beneficial to employees.

Hi there, thank you for this review. We appreciate hearing great things about our product and employees. We also recognize the other feedback you've shared. For all employees, remote work constitutes 60-100% of their working experience at CrowdStrike. An increased emphasis on RTO was announced by our CEO in early Dec. Following that announcement, the leadership of some organizations made the decision, in the best interest of the business, to ask employees close to specific offices, to return to the office for any two days of each week. Functional leadership has the autonomy to do what makes sense for their function in ways that deliver benefits for their unique workstreams. We have and will make exceptions for employees where such a shift would create hardships. We also do review our benefits on a regular basis to ensure we are providing the best benefits possible to employees. Supporting our people is a huge priority for us . If there is any way we can better support you during this time, please reach out to management or your HR business partner. We will also be passing all of this feedback back to our team. Thank you.

Pros

I cant remember of any pros

Cons

Never worked for a company that sells intel services that were less justified than in this company. What they do is VirusTotal Intelligence, not Threat intelligence. This only applies to GTAC and TAC, IAC teams are pretty good.
