      Pros

      You will receive dozens of perky holiday spirit company newsletters clogging your already overflowing work inbox every day, with no unsubscribe button.

      Cons

      I became a Capgemini Invent employee by acquisition. The acquisition process continues to be extremely mismanaged from all angles and departments. HR, finance, payroll, IT -- all somehow caught off guard even though they had many months to prepare to integrate employees. Wrong information given out left and right. Internal systems not working correctly have lead to delays in payroll and employees missing healthcare coverage, being locked out of vital systems, etc. Rather than clean up inept business support departments, top level management chooses to send temper-tantrum mass emails to employees, chastising us at large for filing X paperwork late, submitting timecards late, etc. Any remaining industry-leading talent that may have existed at the acquired companies surely will soon be out the door; mass exodus seems to be already under way.

      Too much internal work. No work life balance.

      Pros

      - Lots of training opportunities

      Cons

      - Way too much useless internal work - No regard for hours. Often do 12+ hours. No work life balance - Benefits are not great. Don't even get gym included. - No recognition unless you sell your soul and become an extroverted glorified mascot - negative effect on mental wellbeing

      Weak management, in-fighting and politics but good for grads to start your career

      Pros

      - Great place to work if you are a grad/ junior recruit - good focus on learning and development - Interesting projects but you wont always get a projects aligned to your specialisation or even your industry - Friendly and relaxed environment with an open-door policy

      Cons

      - Don’t join as an experienced hire - no real recognition of prior experience or benchmarking - This is a place of ‘natural progression’ regardless of performance - no point in going the extra-mile or taking initiative - As such, there aren’t many thought leaders or SMEs left and most of management appear to have been promoted beyond their level of competence.
