      Hard to achieve great work/life balance; lots of travel; long hours; quality of local leadership varies quite a bit between regions and offices

      Pros

      Career Advancement -- You pretty much get exposures and open your door to many different industries by just being a consultant. This give you plenty of opportunities to dip your feet in to see what you like and if you'd like to work a particular industry over long term.

      Cons

      Sometimes you get staffed on a project that you absolutely have no interest in. I felt uncomfortable at times having to give advices/acting as a subject matter expert when I know by heart that I don't really know a thing about it.

      Pros

      Excellent place to start one's career in terms of exposure, pace of learning and mentoring. Excellent people to work with.

      Cons

      Work life balance may not be at its best and like any other consulting firm expect to travel a lot. Easily do 75 flights a year
