Pros

-Some capable colleagues; the best individuals you'll ever meet -You will learn the consulting skills more limited project variety -Plenty of career opportunities after some time with the firm

Cons

Will automated specialize in due diligence work; this may change in the future due to new partner hires -lack office culture despite of great individual consultants; most people spend the day glued to their screens only to go home at midnight -few integration of new employees; they are often completely left out and ignored, and are expected to find their own way in the organization -there is toxic individuals remain tolerated and promoted despite evidence of misbehaviour; good levels of arrogance and ego for some at partner level. Not people you want to spend your entire career with, and certainly not people you want to use as role models -lack feedback implementation; have to be proactive or get lucky with PM to receive proper development points -Mentorship does unexist, not less you get fortunate with one or two particular partners -ofcourse huge hours; some PM's do not expect you to have a life and will be highly inflexible in case the need arises to go home earlier -Abuse from the PM is not commong but certainly not heard of in this office

Pros

I really enjoy the people I work with - this is what keeps me here. - AlixPartners values their employees, especially when considering their career goals and contributions - Feel respected and valued, even as a junior employee - A lot of growth in the firm, which offers opportunities for people to contribute to the strategy and growth of their practice - Supportive HR/People team

Cons

- Inclusivity for diverse/female employees, especially by having more diversity at the leadership level. I hear a lot of buzzwords but don't see a lot of action from the CEOs or practice leaders

Pros

Handful of availability and unused office table space to pick from. Adopts flexible working hours depending on your team.

Cons

This is in the worst sense the most uncollaborative and most disconnected firm i've every been in. Management do not care about your personal growth or life, they send you pressure and make you feel you are bad at your job. Upper level will expect that you work many overtime hours Honestly - its like we all clock in to work in a co-working space with other firms in the same spacet
