Not a job you could ever love

Co-workers are awesome and the only good part about the job.

Cons

Management doesn't communicate state of company. No new programs coming up. Very unstable feeling. Expected to work long hours and if you're salary there is no such thing as comp time. The location is in the middle of cornfields. The town is old fashioned and is too far away from Raleigh or the beaches to make it convenient to anything. Turnover is unbelieveable. There is no planning, only reactions to problems. The general manager is a contracted employee not a full timer.

Great benefits. Good place to learn your trade.

Cons

Salary increases/promotions are virtually non-existent even with excellent performance reviews. Again, being at corporate maybe the chances are better.

A State of the art facility, and lots of good mechanics with a diverse group of aircraft and customers. Entry level positions.

Cons

Bad aircraft scheduling leads to lots of mandatory overtime and then getting sent home due to no work. Low rate of pay compared to other MROs.
