Pros

Lots of opportunity to contribute and implement improvements, however management must support changes and those with the courage to make them.

Cons

Company just laid off 10 - 15% of overhead (salaried) employees on 10-17-2014. They have very little in their order backlog and have downsized extensively during the last two years. I was laid off after being there only 3.5 months! They cannot keep machinists and critical positions filled. This is NOT a good environment - so look elsewhere unless you are desperate for employment.

Pros

Great healthcare (as of 2010). Annual golf tournament (in OKC). At the time, they were working on ironing out the problems in Indianapolis...don't know how that played out.

Cons

Felt kind of like a government job with less benefits and security. Didn't seem to be a lot of opportunity for advancement unless you wanted to move to Chicago (HQ).

Invested in its people through training. Good benefits package and decent pay for the work performed.

Cons

When an employee called 'the hotline', corporate management was quick to point the finger at local management even before any investigation had begun.
