Large company with a lot of room for growth and a wide variety of jobs. Lots of company benefits such as on site fitness facility, cafetaria, tuition reimbursements, etc. Company is investing millions of dollars to upgrade its facilities so employees have a more comfortable place to work.

Cons

Compensation is below industry norms. Cross training and processes are not very standardized. Different people say different things on how something should be done. Makes it difficult for new employees to understand the flow process.

Horrible management . . . short sighted, nothing matters but me approach. You'd be better off working in a mortuary.

Lots of opportunity to contribute and implement improvements, however management must support changes and those with the courage to make them.

Cons

Company just laid off 10 - 15% of overhead (salaried) employees on 10-17-2014. They have very little in their order backlog and have downsized extensively during the last two years. I was laid off after being there only 3.5 months! They cannot keep machinists and critical positions filled. This is NOT a good environment - so look elsewhere unless you are desperate for employment.
