I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target (Brandon, FL) in May 2014
Interview
I applied online and received an email about 5 days later letting me know that I was chosen for a phone interview the next day between 9-11AM. I had class the next day from 8-10:10, so I replied quickly letting them know that I am very interested but won't be able to answer until after class. They didn't respond to the email, but called at noon so I am assuming they saw it. The 15-minute interview went very well, or so I thought. The interviewer laughed with me and seemed to be impressed by my answers. She said I would be receiving a call the next day to set up my second interview. It's been about a week and I have not recieved anything from them. It would have been nice to atleast had an email letting me know I was not chosen. I had the impression that it went really well since she said I was getting another interview. I have no clue what happened.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Miami, FL) in Aug 2013
Interview
I applied online on the target website. Was called two weeks later to schedule an interview. Went in for the interview. The first interview was about 20 minutes long, had it with the Softlines Team Leader. He asked me about myself, my experience and how I would response to different situations. Then he told me that I passed the interview and would go on to a second one. I had the second interview that same day. This was the HR manager. She asked me about how I would respond to different situations such as: If the customer asked me for a product (a shoe) that was not available in the shoe section, what would I do? And if the customer came to the cashier to pay and they said a product was $17.99, but the register said it was $19.99, what would I do? Pretty simple interview and questions. I was then told to wait outside for a minute while the managers spoke. I was offered the job right on the spot and took it. Went into orientation a few weeks later.
