Interview
I applied for Target online; it was Sunday or Monday. I got a call back that Thursday for an interview the next day on Friday. I was instructed to just wait in their break room. I didn't need to bring anything with me. I first met with the manager of the Softlines department, and she was super friendly. We made casual conversation, and even with the actual interview question it still felt like we were have a simple conversation as opposed to a structured interview. After that interview, I was told to go wait back in the break room for a second interview with, who I believe was an HR person. That interview felt a little more difficult, mostly in part due to the woman seeming a little more strict. She was still friendly, but pressed for more specifics. Since this was my first job interview, all my answers to their questions were based off my college experience, which they seemed more than okay with. After the second interview I once again waited in the break room for about 5 minutes and was then told that they'd like to offer me a position. This was on May 13th and I was told to wait for a phone call about my orientation date, which would be tentatively around May 24th.

Interview
The interview was a quick, 3 part process, 2 interviews by person and the third is an online assessment. After the interview was done (that same day), they sent me to a different location for the drug test. about a week later, I was called to go to orientation.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Sep 2012
Interview
Asked basic questions around customer interactions, read straight off of a piece of paper, and felt very informal. I wasn't nervous, but it wasn't necessarily inviting until they decided to hire me.
