I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2009
Interview
First step was completing the online application. This included questions that were previously asked in the application and several new questions. These second questions are focused around one's ability to read charts/graphs and execute simple mathematical problems.
The next step consisted of several interviews. The first was with a Team Leader. This process was both fact-finding and a "personality" test. Previous job experience and how different scenarios were handled or would be handled by you. Interestingly, the interviewer wanted to know if I had any vacation time already set aside. After being hired, they honored that time.
The third step was an interview with an Executive Team Leader. This was a much shorter interview. Some of the same questions were asked. This interview seemed to be more of a formality than anything. The only new question that was asked was why would I want to work for this company.
Lastly, the HR manager came in to offer me a position.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Sep 2009
Interview
The process was easy overall. They were very kind and helpful throughout the entire process. The interview was fairly casual and consisted of basic questions like "describe yourself in three words," "tell me about a difficult situation you overcame," and "how do you work with others." It was straightforward and easy.
