I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Victoria, BC) in Apr 2022
Interview
The recruiter(s) and interviewers were extremely friendly, accommodating and well prepared to conduct a great process.
1. Conversation with technical recruiter, discussed the role and the company and the next steps going forth.
2. Interview with hiring manager discussing behavioural questions and getting to know the company and myself. He was extremely friendly, and helpful during this process.
3. Technical interview. I prepared a 'tutorial' on a technical topic of my choice. Followed by a debugging/coding session through codepen. The interviewer was very accommodating and helped lessen the pressure of this section. He answered more in-depth questions about the role and the team.
4. A interview feedback with the recruiter to discuss the process and I was offered the role during this step.

Hi, thank you for sharing your positive experience interviewing with Lightspeed!
HR, technical interview with principal and another developer. Mostly questions around design and how you would solve a given problem. They basically want to gage your knowledge to see your level. No trick questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Auckland, ) in Oct 2021
Interview
Initial HR screen, technical interview (no code, just questions), take-home coding challenge, code-review, panel with the management. It was a bit tiring after all the different stages, but positive being got to know the company culture very well.
