I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Austin, TX) in Feb 2025
Interview
First two rounds via online. Big layoff following new year, resulting in no offer. First round was coding. Second was behavioral questions. Fairly simple, unfortunately was given notice of no offer right away which makes me feel like I didn’t have a fair shot.

Question 1
"Tell me about a time you had to persuade a difficult customer."
They often focus on behavioral questions using the STAR method and may include a sales role-play to assess your negotiation and communication skills. I personally try to focus on fulfilling getting to the root of the situation to see if we can fulfill the customers needs rather than just trying to "sell" them a product/service
It was a really good experience. The company provided really good resources for preparing for the interview. Everything was streamlined and efficient. It is a good company to interview with.
