I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EY (Coimbatore) in Sep 2018
Interview
This was a One day - On campus process. The recruitment process was as follows,
Round 1 - Aptitude round (online) - Prepare very well
Round 2 - Group Discussion
Round 3 - HR interview (One to One)
Round 4 - Technical Interview 1
Round 5 (Final) - Technical Interview 2
Round 1 was challenging and due to some technical issues, all candidates were chosen for round 2. So that not much people were filtered as expected and lead to a big collapse of the agenda which i will explain later.
In round 2, a general topic was given on the spot. It is very easy if you can express your thoughts freely.
In round 3, general questions like "Tell me about yourself", "Family background", "Are you open to relocate?", "Are you ready to work late hours?" were asked.
In round 4, Mostly the questions were based on SQL queries, Big Data vs SQL, Need for Big data, OOPS concepts (not in depth questions). After this round, I was put on hold and was rejected.
In round 5, The questions were based on the projects you have done and questions similar to the previous round.
Coming to the problem I mentioned above, Because candidates were not filtered in Round 1, the number of candidates that had to be interviewed were more and left all the members of the company stressed. So that, as time went by they got over stressed and found every single way to reject people (Example : You don't have Big data or Data analytics as area of interest, what if you find a job in your area of interest and reject the offer after some time? How do we trust you? Find a job that suits your area of interest).
My resume did not reach the list of rejected candidates, I was on hold after Round 4. The problem was that when there were around 10 people still waiting to attend round 4, there were already 10 people who finished final round and put on hold. The process from round 3 was individual based and not based the no. of people to be filtered out per round.
The members of the company had no other way than to reject some candidates though they were good, because of lack of time and a long stressful day for them.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EY (Kolkata) in Aug 2018
Interview
The procedure started with pre placement talk session where company introduces itself. The hall was beaming with 150 odd students, who busy filling up the questionaire which was provided to us via e-mail. Only around 90 students had filled the form and with time passing by, recruiters were getting restless. EY, being so professional, decided to skip the first round of aptitude. It would have easy for engineers though.
The next round was GD round and I was called in the second batch of first panel. There were 9 batchmates with me, all of us were sitting on a round table with a blank sheet and a pen. The topic was - Social media : making or breaking relations. We were given time to prepare and then 4 minutes were given to speak. Those of us who couldn't speak in stipulated time, we're given another chance. After an hour results were announced. 3 of us were selected.
The next round was technical interview which lasted for varied amounts. My interview lasted close to 40–45 minutes. I had 4–5 other batchmates with me. The panel took around 3 hours on our batch.
The next round was HR round which included general things such as family background, educational history, work experience and other relevant details from my past.
Then we were told to wait till the results were announced. They took around an hour and then the results were announced, which made some happy and some sad faces.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Chennai) in Jan 2018
Interview
The process took 2 weeks, There were 3 rounds and the candidate was selected on basis of his/her performance in all the 3 rounds.
1)Aptitude
2)HR Interview
3)Technical Interview
My best advice would be to be thorough with your resume and projects as the technical round is mostly based on these aspects of the individual.
