I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Docusign (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview process was pretty disorganized. They would tell me I'm interviewing with a certain person/team and I would get on the call and it would be someone else/different team. I also had a final interview where the interviewer was eating his lunch and had no idea who I was when I got on the call. Also, be prepared to give a presentation on Docusign with little to no direction. I had some good experiences with certain interviewers but the process was not very smooth.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
On a scale of 1-10, how do I compare to the number one Account Executive at my company?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2021
Interview
A lot of the reviews I read were scary so I wanted to share my experience. Overall, this was one of my best experiences with interviewing.
I applied online. Took about two weeks to hear back from the recruiter to set up a phone screen. Went as expected. If you don't have a 1-2 minute elevator pitch for your work experience, create one.
Set up interview with RVP later in the week. It was about 30-45 mins long. Very relaxed with standard sales interview questions. Be able to talk about your sales experience...your goals, metrics, etc. That all went well. Was told I would be moving on to the final interview with two other RVPs on the team to do a mock presentation.
Final interview was about a week later (I think they space it out a bit to give you time to prep). This one was literally only scheduled for 25 minutes. The two other RVPs were really friendly. Started with them introducing themselves and me giving my resume rundown and then we jumped into the mock presentation. Despite a little bit of nerves, it went well. They gave immediate feedback - things I did well and areas for improvement, I honestly really appreciated that part. I was told I would hear back by the following Monday but my recruiter reached out the next day to tell me they wanted to offer me the job.
I feel the entire process was super transparent and easy. Everyone I spoke to was very easy going (I too am very easy going, so maybe that played a role) but that seems like the general company culture. My recruiter was amazing and the one time she missed one of my emails, she apologized profusely about it. The RVPs seem like they are not only looking for a good sales person but some who is a good fit culturally as well. They ask questions like "what do you need in a manager?" which to me says they care about their people and want them to succeed.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2021
Interview
It was 7 rounds of the same questions basically, and three of the people didnt know the position I was interviewing for. They asked me multiple times who set up the interview
