Rejected after one technical in-person interview. There were two people, each of them asked a basic coding question and I wrote the solution on paper in Python. I answered both questions easily, so I'm not sure why I was rejected.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given a list of numbers and a number S, find all pairs of numbers in the list that sum to S.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Dec 2016
Interview
Applied online, sent resume and all, although I could have applied and interviewed on campus, which would have been much quicker. Went through 1 screening phone interview and 1 on-site visit consisting of 3 technical and 1 HR interview. Weirdest thing, 2 out of 3 interview on site did not involve coding at all, but were rather broad design questions inspired by actual Bloomberg work. However, all engineers were really nice and approachable, and made you feel comfortable with expressing thoughts even if they weren't the best approaches.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Oct 2016
Interview
I had the phone screen interview, which I thought I did well on but could not proceed in the interview process. I guess I would say you should try hard to be clear in your thought process.
