Vacation is okay, medical needs work, but the educational benefits are very nice.

The best thing about the benefits package (at the time) was the two-week paid vacation during the Christmas holidays that did not count against personal vacation time.

The health insurance requires the employee to put up $1000 per family member as a deductible. With a wife and one child, I considered this an immediate demotion (I moved over with the same salary as my previous job). They do have incentives (money for checkups, exercise plan etc) but I would just rather pay more money and have no deductible. We think twice about getting needed medical care, and that is not good. The retirement plan is generic. There is absolutely no reason to stick with the company for the long-term. Maybe they want that by design.

Excellent benefits and savings program.

Insurance coverage out of pocket is pretty high. Have to meet a high deductible before insurance kicks in.
