No compensation for extra effort.

Pros

Its great to be able to challenge yourself and watch your ideas come to life.

Cons

No compensation for additional work. Pay is based off of 50 hours, not 40 like they will tell you in the interview. Teamwork is not driven from the top. Never ending push. There is no time to reflect on anything that was done and no time to make improvements. Not much of a formal review process and what we do have we only get once a year. Its treated as more of an inconvenience. I never know outside of my own self review how well im doing or what I need to focus on to improve.
