Pros

- Zalando discount for employees

Cons

- Zalando doesn’t have one single visionary leader, from the C-level to SVPs to VPs to Directors, they are all pointing in vague direction, they have no real vision on their own and they really need subordinates to come up with ideas. - Complex, rude and disorganized environment, each team acts as a separate company. - Collaboration is hard between teams. - Promotions are shady, some heads suddenly become Directors (with one report) without following any transparent process. - It’s hard to advance professionally. - Very slow and hierarchical company. Everything around projects and portfolios is a nightmare. - Overall lack of transparency, toxic and stressful workplace. - lack of respect

Company took immediate and effective actions against Covid outbreak.

Cons

Non-German enginners are given lesser word in technical debts. Most of the teams were dominated with toxic seniors and this was allowed by the management.

-Amazingly smart people -Good location -Many things to learn

Cons

- Very diverse up to mid level management / leadership. Then tendency goes to a very cis white man top leadership - Timelines are tight / people continuously are burnout / - Toxic / lac of empathy management culture
