Business Outlook
Pros
Booxware has, especially in the Munich office, a nice collaborative work environment, that is fun to work in. New products are microservices-based and thus provide a (partially) green field for good implementations. You also have the chance to work with newer technologies, i.e. Kafka or Elasticsearch.
Cons
Booxware - as a subsidy of Tipico - is also given the task of running their old monolith, which is little fun to work with and can cause some serious development pain. Since the sw has been inhoused one would often wish for better knowledgebase around the sw.
