Corporate Communications environment is toxic

Pros

Might be OK for someone fresh out of college who does not know any better.

Cons

The women in charge of TI Corporate Communications are only concerned about making a name for themselves, at the expense of everyone around them. They have created a truly toxic environment and pushed many talented people out.

Good Place to Kill a Marketing Career

Pros

Good salary and benefits.

Cons

TI is an engineering company. If you are a marketer, look elsewhere. TI doesn't hold anyone in high regard unless they have a EE degree and are a white male under 40. Also, if you work outside of the corporate office in Dallas, there's little to no opportunity for advancement, especially in a marketing role. Networking does not help.
