Pros

Profit Sharing is worth ~2.5 times the basic salary. You can develop your time management skills because of the daily pressure on your job.

Cons

Salary is not that competitive compared with other top semiconductor companies in the country. Work load per engineer is at worst. The jobs/positions that you handle is equivalent to 2-3 persons in other companies.

Pros

pay above the average considering the workload

Cons

heavy politics at all levels, no way to stay away from it, people do bad things to get benefits for themselves poor management with little technical knowledge incapable engineers(good engineers left, only poor ones stay because they can't find a job at somewhere else) some race bias are around

Not bad if "just a job."

Pros

Reasonable pay, reasonably steady work. Not bad if you treat it as "just a job."

Cons

Focus on "shareholder value" and aggressively exiting markets that aren't profitable enough can leave you wondering if your product's next. It drives the passionate away. It's hard to keep up with analog's PFO on the processor side of the biz.
