Good and bad

Pros

1) Great people - I have found great people working at Texas Instruments. They genuinely care for the company. 2) Great pay - Higher than industry pay especially 20% performance bonus 3) Stable co.

Cons

1) Too much politics - its all about who you know vs. what you know. So talented people may be pushed around and most likely the people that go for a drink with leaders are promoted. The parties are mostly after hours. So people with kids may be adversely impacted. 2) Benefits are sub par - only high deductible plan available. So if you have a young kid or are aging this may be costlier to you.

Pros

just slightly above average package. will learn a lot of knowledge

Cons

minimum benefits. HR will say they have converted all benefits into your payslip. Management just care about execution and results, they know you have spending tremendous amount of effort and time until you are exhausted but they just ignore. Manufacturing & Assembly teams are tough
