Pros

I thoroughly enjoyed working at TeamViewer as a new inside sales rep over the last 2 years. The former team manager put in a lot of work to support sales reps and coach the team through different sales seasons. I learned and grew my skills from a strong manager and helpful teammates.

Cons

The VP of sales destroyed the morale of my team and continues to undermine the values of the company. He is authoritarian, and his policies have fostered a new culture that decimated the pleasant working environment at TeamViewer that existed prior to his arrival. I witnessed my tenured teammate, once a model employee, become unmotivated and increasingly less productive due to his foul behavior. For instance, he would frequently interrupt one-on-ones to sit in, with the intent of just chastising employees. This includes inappropriate comments about weight and physical appearance. This left us anxious in completing even simple tasks, making it impossible to implement any of their desired changes - lest we get the hammer. Perpetual rude comments, unfair/inconsistent sales policy, a needlessly stressful work environment, and many more problems forced me to leave. My last couple weeks of employment were characterized by tension that could be cut with a knife. Weeks on end of both old and new employees being forced out due to perceived "weak qualities" - his words. There were frequent complaints of harassment during this time that resulted in retribution. The VP of sales, along with the managers under him, utilized public shame and embarrassment as motivators. Under the current leadership, you can expect to dislike your job. Please consider my experience and others as accurate and a deterrent toward employment at TeamViewer.

Pros

i like the actual product

Cons

the way the product is packaged makes it like unsellable - the corporate execs are only concerned with charging people for an entire year just so the sales team cam "make more commission" (that they won't even pay you of unless you're over some ungodly sales goal %) - and then they have sales goals that are the cost of a whole mortgage honestly. the computers they give are extremely old and slow but they blame you for not buying the most expensive home wifi in order to compensate for the fact that it is not just a VPN you must go into. there is like 3 daily technical hoops you have to jump through just in order to log on everyday, and the offshore servers are always crashing. Why are we in America using the European servers, this creates unnecessary lag when trying to perform. The use of two seperate CRMs that are equally qlitchy makes multiple co-workers always want to cry everyday. Stay away, joining this company is my biggest regret of this year

Pros

GREAT PTO & lots of free stuff, food, drinks & refreshments... Paid benefits (because they know you will be stressed & sick and will NEED the medical care to...)

Cons

It hit me after maybe a month or so on the floor- they want you to sell a ridiculous amount of remote software MONTHLY (Ex-$63,000+ USD here in the states & CA) BUT because they are a German based company, the system converts your sales to € Euros which obviously brings your total DOWN!!! It’s azz backwards!!! They want a certain amount every day/month, but yet the total sale is decreased; makes NO SENSE... FYI: Spiff money is deducted from your payroll check & commission is taxed 30+%... RUN!!!
