Pros

Good health benefits. Flexible schedule for emergencies. Drinks are a good thing. Most coworkers are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Well where to start, most of the office is in the sales department. Not really a "sales" job, customers call ready to buy anyways. When I first started working here the office had a clear goal and a path for almost all of us, you do good yo get good. Its not like that anymore, in the company nowdays you do good you keep your job, you do not so good and promotions and recognitions come your way. They say quitters dont win and winners din quit right? Not here, how is someone that stops doing extra taks because there is no monetary reward going to be promoted? And someone building a new department giving 110% of input on a new project just gets fired for some office gossip, with no previous verbal warning nor write-up? Not really understandable. The sales team last tear did really good the first quarter exceeding the target and for the next quarters the goal was raised? Then 7 MONTHS later we get told that this was because the person who calculated the numbers made a mistake and was probably fired, really? What a good excuse, blame it on someone who noone knows and is supposely fired, great job! Upper management says they want to be transparent about everything but what they really are transparent about is just the few things they want you to know. People with horrible attitude on the phone gets promoted to a job where will get paid DOUBLE and do nothing, just complaint whenever there is a problem that has to be fixed when it is that person's job to fix any problem that might come up. $2000+ on 2 rented Christmas trees?? Really??? How about guving that money to the sales team that makes them able to pay those ridiculous things. No compensation is given, we have to fight each other over a giftcard, making the Latam and Noram teams conpete with the same numbers and different currencies? Excelent!! Many things are just going really bad in this place and the good people are leaving, some like me are terminated for no reason. Im sure numbers was not a reason, how can a sales person be fired when making good numbers to a company that is not compensating accordingly but still making good numbers?? I dont get it. Good luck finding someone that can keep the Resellers organized like I had, yes everyone knows who I am.

Pros

Can you say work-life balance? This place offers a fixed schedule with a relatively low-pressure environment. You do work for a remote control software developer with no option to work from home, but if the irony doesn’t drive you mad, you may appreciate that disconnecting from the job was never this easy. Benefits: the health insurance can’t be beat, though if you’re young and healthy sans dependents, it’s easy to take for granted. Office environment: bright office and generally clean as long as you avoid the petri dishes they call kitchen sinks, because how many gainfully employed adults really know how to do their own dishes? Modern standing desks and ergonomic chairs are a considerate touch and unlimited soft drinks, specialty coffees (not your typical, industrial sludge) and fruit delivered fresh to the office twice a week may even save you a little on your grocery bill. “Casual” gets a whole new meaning here with virtually no wardrobe restrictions (basically anything you might expect to see on a late-night trip to Wal-Mart, unless of course someone important is planning a visit) you’ll save money on an office appropriate wardrobe but more often than not casual attire seems to be accompanied by an equally lax definition of professionalism. Parties: While inebriated co-workers can lead to some unique challenges for HR, company parties are not to be missed: they’re generally hosted in interesting and fun locals with decent food and an open bar, no expense is spared and these shindigs are memorable, or maybe not so memorable for some, like I said, open bar.

Cons

Middle management is generally inexperienced and out-of-touch for such a small office where nearly every manager started-out on the phones themselves. The disconnect, particularly between management and the members of the front-line isn’t a mystery when company policy for “mandatory” interviews for internal promotions is circumvented for certain candidates who, for reasons unknown, are the favorite of the person making the decision, in spite of a lack of prior experience or even when more senior and experienced applicants have applied. It is this kind of favoritism combined with a lack of transparency or over-sight regarding internal promotions which have created distrust in management and successfully demotivated experienced and loyal employees. With demotivated senior employees, recent years have seen an added pressure on new hires to bring fresh enthusiasm and to follow the lead of management who for one reason or another find themselves facing an uphill battle with the existing team, not necessarily at any fault of their own. While this is a great place to gain some low-level experience in just about any customer-facing role and meet nice people, all things the same, if you’re a tech-savvy professional with even a modicum of ambition who’s looking for a company that will provide you with guidance and opportunities to develop yourself and advance your career, this probably isn't the best fit for you.

Pros

Awesome workplace environment, great employee health benefits, great product to sell and work with. Ok pay and perqs. Overall, this company is a good place to work.

Cons

Internal systems are horrible to work with daily, many communication breakdowns at every level of the organization, every team for themselves attitude, no inspirational leadership. Too often, systems go down and their are no redundancies built into them. When everything is working well, applications and internal processes move at a snail's pace keeping employees frustrated. Decisions all too often are made in Germany with no consideration for the teams in the US resulting in massive breakdowns in trust and communication. Pay is just ok. 401k is lacking. No tuition reimbursement benefits. Revolving door of middle managers and senior leaders.
