Pros

If you are going to school and need flexible working hours I would suggest target. They have some very lenient policies on scheduling and for vacation and time off. They are very ubiquitous with their transportationa nd outside activities.

Cons

They hire outside management so they usually have no idea how to do your job or how best to communicate down.

Pros

Team centered culture, working together. Lots of different stuff to do, which keeps you from falling into a rut.

Cons

Expect More, Pay Less isn't directed at customers. It's Target's way of telling the workers how they're going to be treated. Don't expect to move into upper management from an entry position.

Pros

Good place to understand the general mechanics of a store.

Cons

Horrible work life balance. Many politics are played and many good people are held down.
