      Pros

      Tableau honestly cares about its missions, corporate values, and culture. There is a web site about corporate mission, internal pages (initially written by the CEO) about values and culture, and incredibly open sharing of information about corporate status and plans.

      Cons

      Tableau tries to be a small startup atmosphere, but at over 3000 employees is forced to act like a big company. Trying to find the balance is a challenge.

      Pros

      Tableau is a fantastic place to work. This quirky startup spun out of a University of Stanford research project. It has grown from startup into a publicly traded company. Through all the growth, Tableau has maintained a startup feel. There is very high importance placed on work like balance, and enjoying your time at work each day.

      Cons

      The culture of the company is so great that it can be hard to ever consider leaving. Also, they provide so much food that it is pretty easy to put on some weight when at work. My advice, use your standing desk as much as possible.

      Pros

      Great product, Amazing people, every here is very intelligent, market leader, everyone is a shareholder.

      Cons

      Explosive growth means more limited sales opportunities. Every team triples in size yearly. Account growth can't keep up. Also everyone is underpaid - at least on the sales side.
