Pros

A good company - people work for TUI for years and I can see why. You need a passion for travel and a skill for sales. - There is lots of support and training opportunities - A good community feel. I've met some lovely people in the company who are always willing to help and support you - either in person or over teams. - If you're a hard worker/ work in a busy shop you can make a lot of commission. - Not working the typical Monday - Friday sometimes proves useful - Pretty fun job as you get to chat about holidays all day and give you inspiration for your next one! - You learn a lot about the travel industry, keeps you up to date with world affairs and of course keeps your geography skills fresh. - I've had so many lovely interactions with customers and heard so many wonderful ad interesting stories about people's lives

Cons

- Not much opportunity for career growth. - You'll work most weekends in a month. In my interview I was told I'd work one weekend a month but after being here for 8+ months it's been closer to working 2/3 weekends a month. You have to push for full weekends off and make sure you request them off in advance. - I've been in situations before where I've been pressured into pestering customers in order to get a sale out of them when I can clearly see the holiday isn't right for them/ I know they'll book just not immediately. - Some managers put their targets above the customers best interest. - Can be cliquey. - It's a customer facing job so you will probably be shouted at or
