Pros

I worked with some good people. HOWEVER, most were unhappy. Many have since left - staff turnover is ridiculously high and people often leave without somewhere to go to. Employee satisfaction is very low. If TMF's senior management knew how to run a successful business then, their global platform should be amazing. Sadly, they don't know how to run a global business so the global platform is basically a huge franchise model where every MD fights over their own P/Ls - it does not place clients first.

Cons

Senior management don't care how targets are reached, as long as they are reached. All they care about is the here and now - bill the client for whatever you can, doesn't matter if the client leaves the following year. They're tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. There is NO concept of investing in client relationships. During my time at TMF, I witnessed people being told to bill for work that had not been performed. I also saw people double charging clients for the same work.

Pros

- procedure driven company - colleagues on same level are easy to get along with - international environment - colleagues stick together against superiors

Cons

- extremely high staff turnover (every month people are leaving or starting) - In one year I saw about 20 people leave. Most people who are still there are actively searching a new job - My superiors are yelling at employees and treating them with no respect - Neither management nor human resources cares about complaints or even a history of complaints about unpleasant treatment. - There are private couples within the same hierarchy which leads to conflicts in the working environment - Generally work is never appreciated. - No constructive environment. Instead of discussion with the goal to find a solution that suits both parties it is common to "put employees in their place" and make them justify why they are not better, faster...etc. - In fact it is impossible to fulfill the official expectations but as long as you are a "yes-person" nobody will care. As soon as you dare to stand up against wrong-doing they will start to use everything against you. - Propagandized values of the company are not followed in reality - Even if you are sick they will call you at home on your private phone

Ability to work remotely, hybrid, or entirely in office

Cons

No leadership, long hours, no respect from managers, crappy benefits, low quality management, many of the good people are leaving because of the toxic culture/lack of leadership, constant (like every day/all day) technology issues…..It’s possible mice are running the IT department!
