      Pros

      Nice renovated offices in Causeway Bay 9 to 5 30 hours OK place if you just want to “float” but don’t have real career ambitions

      Cons

      Heads of Departments and MD pulled in from other businesses and don’t really know well the Services which they administer. Revolving door of leadership. MD uses Peter Principle to hire rather than value real talent and track record. No real meritocracy eg one of the Heads of Department in HK only has high school level qualifications. Not OK, especially in HK where credentials are valued. Lots wrong internally. MD makes sure that the inner circle is only yes people rather than value different views. Gives rise to glass ceiling and chemistry issues with management, especially if you have career goals and want to get ahead. Try it and you may not like it.

      Our team are experts in their respective fields/roles, especially our HODs who, by job requirement are professionally qualified. We foster career development and internal promotion is always our first preference when there is opening in the organization - in Hong Kong, we have an internal promotion rate of 19% over the past 12 months alone. We believe in working as a team in a transparent structure and appreciate that with a diverse team, leadership styles may vary but this is a value we uphold and commit to at TMF Group.

      Pros

      Salary in line with the market, 13th month but only 25 holidays

      Cons

      Unprofessional attitude, non entrepreneurial, lack of communication, no vision, anti-social, back room politics.... List can go on and on. Has a bad reputation with counterparties and a high employee turnover. Says it all.

      Company with potential but very poor top management

      Pros

      If you learn to survive at TMF you can survive in any other company. If you have initiative and know the right people you may get opportunities.

      Cons

      No rewards, no appreciation for the hard work, culture of fear promoted from the HQs. High people turnover. Poor IT and last century technologies. Poor and not so relevant communication.
