Cons

Unbelieveable amount of rankling & 'competetion' BETWEEN departments in the same building. Everybody works for the same company but at times you' d never know that....

Pros

The elevator equipment that ThyssenKrupp Manufacturers is among the best in the world. Some of the technicians are highly knowledgeble and committed to working hard and professionally. The technical support from the National Engineering center (ITS) is excellent.

Cons

Due to pressures from corporate, the local field organization does not permit the technicians to have enough time to perform quality maintenance work. Internal politics favors nepotism against qualified and motivated personnel. The field technicians are not encourged to use the ITS technical support enough. Recent implementation of GPS tracking, and inappropriate accusations regarding use of company vehicles by management is causing morale problems among the field technicians.
