Some supervisors and managers followed black and brown shoppers around the store accusing them of stealing constantly. And some would stand behind us as we rang up bipoc customers to make sure they weren't stealing and when they returned items, by pretending to talk to us or them and "fake" being interested, it was so prevalent. Everyday indignities were blatantly obvious; with black and brown shoppers were being treated worst than white shoppers here, just to name a few. The black and brown employees were accused of stealing too; they would get harassed, I saw all sorts of microaggressive behavior. The bipoc employees were being pressured, isolated, and bullied if they would not racially profile Bipoc customers and treat them very, very badly. There were some supervisors and managers that would take credit for your work, try to pit employees against each other and instigate conflict amongst each other; by asking what one thought of anothers work, talk down and degade employees even when they were doing a good job, insulting them in front of customers and fellow coworkers.
