Pros

Flexible hours, personal time off

Cons

Minimum wage, $.25 raise every year, horrible work environment, unsanitary store, associates have to wait nearly a year to be trained on returns which "pees" customers off when there is a long line and only 1 or 2 cashiers can do returns

Pros

The interview process is straightforward. Some questions were: Why TJ maxx? Describe a situation in where you handled a difficult situation?

Cons

Can't negotiate wage during seasonal position

Pros

There was a constantly changing environment, meaning the layout changed at least once a week; therefore things were never boring and looked the same. The employee discount was only 10% but it was great to at least have a discount

Cons

Customers can be very rude and unappreciative of sales associates hard work. They don't really care about helping maintain the aesthetics and cleanliness of the store although you work extremely hard to keep the store looking good.
