      Other employee's were very friendly, unfortunately supervisors and managers were not

      Pros

      Part-time could get time off about any time they wanted except at Christmas. Had 20 % discounts many times a year.

      Cons

      When hired by a manager I was warned of an employee I'd be working with, didn't pay much attention to it, later I learned what she had meant. Problem was, the same manager would do nothing about the problem this employee was causing me. I asked for different depts. , she also said she would talk to her, well, nothing ever happened. Also the job itself was the most boring job I have ever had in my life! A 10 yr. old could do it.

      Pros

      - Flexible hours - let me add or cut hours depending on how my schedule changes - Paid weekly, can cash it at the store - Hires frequently - Easy job. Not challenging work, but if you are just looking to make some extra money, its pretty great..

      Cons

      - Amount of time spent cleaning up after closing depends on the manager's personality - Very mundane work, a lot of cleaning up after people.

      It's been an mediocre experience. Mostly I just love the people I work with. The job is not the best.

      Pros

      Tj-Maxx is good for working with your schedule, so if it is just a part time job while you are in school it is an ok place to work.

      Cons

      I don't feel their is too much professional growth. The task become redundant, and if you are looking to grow professionally, the task don't help. Also the pay is not the best.
