Pros

They used to be kind and understanding when I started, but that ends quickly

Cons

They’re vary manipulative. The managers are extremely rude and makes associates feel unwelcome and unwanted. They act like it’s a safe place, but it’s not. The badger their associates to get credits cards everyday, and when we don’t, we get threats about how our hours are going to be cut and how we will get write ups. You can’t force someone to get a credit card when they keep saying no, it doesn’t work that way. If you manage to scheme a soul into signing up for the credit, they say, “good job, get 2 more!” It is absolutely ridiculous. Recently they started giving associates one day a week, or none at all. And today they called associates to their office to yell at them about their credit card performance. A few people left crying. That’s not a safe environment, and I’m happy I’m quitting

Pros

You get to see all these treasure everyday, and your coworkers can be cool...

Cons

.. But management can be very rude and condescending. The social work culture can be very toxic at times with insensitive superiors who aren't afraid of making you do your job even when you aren't scheduled. They rely on intimidation and passive aggressive tactics as well as implicit threats. So... yeah, don't work here for more than two years.

Pros

Management give you a pat on the back if you get a credit card.

Cons

Management give you a pat on the back if you get a credit card. A five dollar credit to the store for each credit card you get would be more incentive who cares about a pat on the back
