Awful customers and awful managers. On a daily basis will be degraded and disrespected for absolutely no reason. For some reason the store attracts a very specific type of entitled customer that often times will be snappy and rude, made worse by mangers that tend not to listen to their employees and may need to be called several times or even convinced to come and handle the situation. Synonymous with other reviews I would second that you're barely treated like a human, rather you're just another asset to the company and must be worked fully. In my personal experience I've found the managers continually call and expect you to cover extra shifts with few hours warning and if you do so they will offer little gratitude. Constantly pushed and expected to do more and be faster when the management will rarely engage in work themselves. Expected to be a jack of all trades, staff are stretched far too thin. Conscious that very few retail jobs are enjoyable but I would say that tk maxx is certainly one of the worst, just avoid it entirely.
