Pros

A few nice staff on one hand and the staff discount . I need twenty positive words which I can't fill.

Egotistical envious management, poor communication, two-faced lazy malicious staff at this branch, one of them make remarks about my breasts and size, but super lazy. Hard working staff are penalised and over worked without consideration. The one star is for the handful of nice staff. Advertised as day job, given rota hours that change all the time and evenings. Mine are mostly evenings, as most of the staff do not want to do these hours. You get a 12 hour contract and the rest goes on as overtime. 5 hours with no break, while just over this with a whole very long 1 hour break. Very long shifts, which are not worth it. Given three departments to tidy and fill, while extra staff are helping others with one single department. Want a life out of work, no chance! You're just a phone call away on your day off at short notice. They don't ask you while you're at work prior to making plans, even though they know they are short staffed on a particular day. I worked 5 days one week and only paid a total of 22ish hours. Pay should be higher for the amount of work that has to be done. Treat everyone who wonders around the store or can't decide as theft, poor reading of people. Poor tagging system and a pain at the tills to get off. High theft areas are not monitored, but time wasted on following possible suspects with the whole management team and staff taking over the only communication system in store that prevent you from calling staff to open up more tills. Treats new staff as stupid and just till staff so they don't have to go on themselves even when I was given jobs to do, while they do their shopping or back chat. Constant reminder about getting people to sign up treasure cards and question customer service, when this is not good customer service.
