Good pay, which is excellent for a first job..e.g me, i get 7.96£ a hr , good experience in terms of developing customer skills You're work colleagues are great and friendly and a joy to work with..
Cons
First of all, the management team are poor, i have one assistant manager whos nice however the rest are just poor, was promised a 20 hr contract but on a 8 hr contract which sucks as i have to help pay bills and pay travel. I work in the stock room and the management team is always complaining about the time not being done but with such understaff and not enough space how could it possibly be done? Our stockroom team leader is poor, really lazy beyond words, never helps, the previous store my TL was not very nice personally but he always helped process deliverys, i have been put on womens mens kids and footwear section, i guess shop floor experience is good however managers and team leaders give 50 tasks to do at once which is rubbish and the managment team is more of do it yourself type of people.. Comparing to the other store i worked in it was amazing! Management team always working also however the current store is generally poor.. The managment staff also favour people which sucks as they arent able to help fulfil your potential and no progression
