      Pros

      Pay wasn't awful for part time work Always had something to do Discounts Rota was put up with enough notice for everyone

      Cons

      Super super busy Staff treat you so badly, even got inappropriate comments made at me by my manager during shift Till training was awfully done

      10% discount 20% on specific weekends - approx once every 2 months Holiday pay - calculated over hours worked rather than contracted hours which was good as I always worked over my contracted hours Minimum of 8 hour contracts

      Cons

      Understaffed Always given ridiculous amounts of work to do in a small time period Under a lot of pressure, as this was a new store we were told they were firing lots of people who didn't impress them enough

      Pros

      Decent pay for a part time worker (around £7 p/h). Job tasks are not bad at all, quite enjoyed going to work. Most of the management did a good job. Was given more responsibility at the bigger store (Birmingham, Bullring)

      Cons

      Definitely depends on the store- I worked at Boston, Lincolnshire TK Maxx- a quiet store and really enjoyed my time there. I moved to TK Maxx Bullring (Birmingham) and it was a completely different experience with a lot of the management not really listening to me e.g. I continuously asked not to be given delivery shifts, yet kept being given delivery shifts after being promised no more.
