Pros
The hourly rate is good as it was around £7.50 I think by the end of my four years there. If you have good managers it can be an amazing environment to work in but managers are always being moved to other stores. 10% employee discounts (just for you and your partner) and 20% discount weekends for family and friends a few times throughout the year.
Cons
Management and their inconsistent rules towards certain employees, a lot of favouritism. The way tasks are split between employees are unfair e.g. on one floor you could be the only employee maintaining, yet on the other floor there could be three employees with the same amount of experience as you. The managers and certain employees can have as many conversations as they like, but if certain other employees do the same there'll be a lot of whispering behind people's backs, management is not upfront at all. Team leaders/ managers are constantly changing. A lot of customers have no respect for employees/products.
