Pros

Nice cubicle, temperature controlled environment, near bus lines, easy to get to.

Cons

The bigger the company got the more impersonal it got. It became all about the numbers, work harder with less time, and less acknowledgement for your efforts. The harder you worked the more they expected. Social committees and events became less and less. Interactions between co-workers was discouraged. Advancement opportunities were based on friendships rather than capability, or skills.

Pros

Fair benefits though they got cut back over the years. Good work life balance for most

Cons

Bad career development. Spent way too much on sales and sponsorships. HR department goes by the book when it benefits them but makes excuses when it doesn't. Badly run and now employees not involved in the decisions are paying for it. Employees that survive the layoff, including the new college leadership people, should take note and get out quick as it will get worse.

Pros

Being remote was the only pro.

Cons

The managers are the WORST! They hired me in Sep then the following year when everyone was getting their raises I was told that I wouldn't get one because I was hired in Sep instead of Oct so therefore I didn't make the goal for the previous year. Talk about a bunch of crap! They are so full of it! They micro-manage you to death then write you up if you need to take time off for being sick! I had the available PTO and had a doctor's note but that didn't matter! At one point I got so fed up with the constant put-downs that I spoke up and that's when they sent out a mass email saying how much they appreciate everyone but that was short-lived because, within a few weeks, they were right back to riding our backs and constantly telling us what you're doing wrong and never what you're doing right! You get audited daily by various ppl who need to be audited themselves! You get loaded with incomplete messy work that you have to figure out on your own and if you make any mistakes it's all on you. But the dept that sent the incomplete work don't get audited. That makes no sense! Like I said this was the worst company I've ever worked for and that's why they have a revolving door! Ppl don't stay there for too long because it's way too stressful!
