No working time restrictions.Work from home is available.

I cant even begin to describe how bad this company and its people are. I think this company chooses the worst people and assigns them for management. Employees are literally treated as slaves. You will be shouted at, humiliated, abused in front of all your team members. There is nobody to go to complain against any misbehavior because the HR department in the company is CRIPPLED .Entire power is in the hands of a few managers. There is no transparency at all. No 'Process' is followed for any task. Being a small company, everything is dependent on the manager's moods.They do conduct surveys but the results are manipulated.

Pros

One of the best kept secrets in enterprise software. The technology and software in some areas is up with the best, if not better.

Cons

Woeful strategic vision. Acquisition strategy has caused a lot of issues as there is non-existent due diligence to ensure that the technology portfolio actually works together, let alone works. Company resets their messaging and direction every 12 months so employees and clients have no clue what Software AG is really about anymore. The Board and CEO are uninspiring, and generally only want to be known in their local German market. They care little for other regions. As such, due to a restructuring following a COO departure, all other regions are directionless with the wrong people and attitudes driving their strategy. Sales mentality is based on early 2000's; sell anything and get the commission. There is NO cloud strategy, only words. The current "Digital Business" marketing is possibly the most infantile attempt to appear current to the analyst community, it's a hashtag list of phrases and words but little substance behind it. Even the company name is so generic it's now meaningless.

Pros

If you want to learn how to strongarm your best customers, and shake them down for more money, this place is for you!

Cons

Sales is managed by a spreadsheet. No discussion of what the client needs/ wants. A simple modification to a contract takes 6 weeks, throwing your deal out of the quarter. Bonus plans are unattainable.
