      Pros

      You get to learn about customers and their network infrastructure.I worked in the SOC.A wide variety of information is on the table as you have to deal with them on a daily basis.Direct business communication with security experts from different companies->improves business communication.Overall good to digest useful technical security knowledge.

      Cons

      No teamwork->Bad management->They do not appreciate or value employees hardwork->Top management does not know about it.The middlemen are a spoilsport.

      Cons

      Back office (Finance, IT and HR) lack the knowledge and sophistication to push company forward as quickly as possible. Too many "local" thinkers in global industry.

      Pros

      A lot of experience, good pay at the start. Nice management , good location office . Basic stuff you find other places really.

      Cons

      I would advice thinking twice about joining the team as the salary might seem good but you will be doing 10x times more than you get paid for. The management will not provide equal opportunity for you to get promotion. The salary increase by 15% every 18 month ( If your lucky). Firewall team is always under staffed and low pay.
