Satair is part of Airbus, yet its IT infrastructure and support are completely separate, which creates unnecessary inefficiencies and disconnects. Additionally, the Herndon office is located in an area with known security and safety concerns. Security appears to be treated as a personal responsibility rather than a company priority. Recently, an employee’s car was vandalized while parked in the company’s lot. Instead of offering support, the company distanced itself entirely, citing non-ownership of the lot and denying any liability. Shortly after the incident, the security department sent out an email stating, ‘Disclaimer: parking at the company’s lot is at your own risk,’ clearly aimed at shifting responsibility away from the company. The financial burden and damage were left entirely on the employee. This lack of accountability raises serious concerns about how the company values employee safety and well-being.
