Been here 4 years, this past year has been overwhelmingly uncertain and difficult.
Pros
I really enjoy my coworkers and being Orange. I like the downtown office locations and the free food and drinks. The culture has kept me here but the pressures are mounting and the uncertainty of the company make it hard to stay. Pay has been pretty good. ExactTarget Connections is always fun but is ton of work.
Cons
Work life balance has gotten really out of whack the past year and a half. I do more and more but then get more and more to do. It seems like if I don't check my email at 10 at night I am considered a slacker, very hard to have a life outside of ExactTarget and nearly impossible to keep up with management constantly changing directions. I am the only minority on my floor, ExactTarget is overwhelmingly Caucasian probably 98% in the US offices, which is kind of depressing. Also it's very difficult to get promoted as a female above a director level, nearly impossible so I am considering switching companies to either Angies List or Interactive Intelligence as I hear they are better about promoting diversity.
