Pros

The perks are great, I actually like the 'Orange Culture', plenty of new things to learn.

Cons

They do a great job at marketing, both for the client and for themselves. The job sounds a lot better when they are pitching it to you than what the reality is. The hours are inconsistent and mostly border between long to really long. This is not the place for a person with a family. There is little to no direction as to career development and we hear about the same plans for improvement every few months but they never come to fruition. I feel like I have tried hard to like it here but I don't think I will last much longer. Even if you really want to do great work, unless you suck up a lot and work around 60 hours a week, you won't go anywhere. It's probably just like every other company, and if it is, I need to rethink my career choice.

Pros

Salesforce continuously offers non-traditional benefits to engage and elate employees. Point in fact is the recent ticket giveaway to the great Bridge School Benefit concert. This happens year round with charity, athletic and other events - the gifts keep on coming.

Cons

None - salesforce.com has it's good and bad just like any other company and is not perfect; however, the good far outweigh the bad as salesforce.com tries to improve year after year. They listen to us.

Pros

Salesforce is absolutely a meritocracy. Be excellent, be rewarded. This is the best possible mechanism for retaining people that count. If you're good, you will be recognized. If not, respectfully you are not who we want to work with.

Cons

Some technical architecture suffers from age, but the problems are well recognized, fixes are staffed, and the tooling around the problems does a great deal to mitigate them.
