      Pros

      With Bosch being such a large, worldwide company, there is room to move and grow within the company.

      Cons

      While I love the department that I work in, Bosch as a whole has become too policy driven making it almost impossible to get your work done efficiently.

      +++ Great group to work for: long term strategy thinking, sound corporate values, career development possibilities either worldwide or across business units from very different sectors (Automotive, Building&Energy, Industry, Consumer goods) One important differentiation from other large corporation is the set up of the group: private limited company owned by a caritative foundation, thus independent from financial markets and short term pressures.

      Cons

      --- Bosch is unfortunately no exception to drawbacks of most larger corporations like higher burocracy, slower decision process, and political play at higher management level even if those aspects improved quite a lot in past 10 years (agility and lean management initiative)
