Pros

training is okay. Good for those who can do buttering well.

Cons

you cannot learn new thing. You are suppose to do personal work of your team leader like giving your college projects to your team leader daughter and helping her in study. if you dont then suddenly your performance is bad .

Pros

Friendly environment, nice people, relaxed/flexible work hours, opportunity to learn

Cons

The management has a tendency to hire for less which affects the quality of the employees. Salaries are in the lower end (in the very lower end) and won't increase significantly over the years (2-3% tops). Bad human resource and performance management; everybody is treated same regardless of the performance. No career path whatsoever. You are mostly stuck with the position that you started for "years" if you don't leave the company. Lack of communication between upper management and employees. A good company if you need something better than a government job, a great company if you want to commit a "Career Suicide"..

Pros

Lovely facilities on a beautiful bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, free lunch provided onsite daily, nice exercise room, mostly pleasant and intelligent co-workers. Interesting software and customers.

Cons

Top management has sense to hire smart people but then micro-manages them ("founders syndrome") and will not tolerate dissenting ideas. Subscribes to the Jack Welch (of GE) big company management theory that 10 percent of employees should arbitrarily be ranked as "under-performers" each review period (twice a year) resulting in lots of voluntary and involuntary turnover. Paranoia about job security leads to a "keep your head down and blame the other guy if something goes wrong" mentality. Promotion, review, and dismissal policies perceived to be completely random.
