Pros

Nice people, nice location in a heart of Berlin

Cons

Over the past few months, I've become increasingly frustrated with the situation here. The salaries are significantly lower than the market average, and despite promises of raises, nothing has been delivered. The lack of benefits is another major issue—honestly, the discount page that's offered as a "bonus" feels like a joke. There’s also a troubling lack of transparency, which creates a sense of instability. The HR department, unfortunately, doesn't help the situation. They work part-time, and getting a response to any request is a slow and frustrating process. They don’t seem willing to assist or engage with employees. The overall environment is making me feel stuck and undervalued.

Pros

Financially backed-up by the corporation famous for global distribution of chemicals. Not clear expectations makes people who are not highest performers to not feel the pressure of expectations on performance level. There is a lot of nice & modest people working for Plantix in Berlin office (developers, agronomists, designers). Plantix is not hesitant to pay competitive compensation to people with expertise to help them clean the chaos.

Cons

People with expertise might struggle with lack of expectations, processes, goals, workflows. Collaboration can be difficult since decisions are always made top down. Better not expect your idea will be considered. Office in India struggles with even bigger lack of working processes and can't be very difficult to bridge the gap between India & Berlin office in terms of collaborations. Extremely noticeable lack of management expertise. Also, to have an app free for farmers, they are compensating with earning by selling toxic products. I don't believe having a free app is more important then selling pesticides and damaging the environment and soil forever.
